Karthik Ramanathan is an American financier and former government official who served as Acting Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Markets from 2008 to 2010 and Director of the Office of Debt Management at the United States Department of the Treasury.

Ramanathan graduated from Columbia University in 1994. After graduation, he worked for
